Housebroken is syndicated by Tribune Media Services to various newspapers, including the Detroit Free Press and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. It tells the story of DJ Dog, AKA "Doggie Brasco" AKA "The Ghetto Snoopy," a dog who still tries to keep it "gangsta" while hanging out with Malik and Mya Watson. |

Gangsta Yoga chronicles the second year of the Housebroken strip. These adventures range from DJ Dog turning an elementary school orchestra into the "Murderers' Bows," or taking the "DJ Dog Dancers" to his cubicle job. You can see the sample pages below. Housebroken creator Steve Watkins is a Howard University and Yale Law School graduate. After years of submitting sample strips to the various comic strip syndicates, Housebroken was finally syndicated by Tribune Media Services in 2002. |
