About the Cartoonist

Housebroken is the creation of Steve Watkins that started from a rather obscure comic strip he drew while a math major at Howard University.

After graduation, he began to submit comic strips to the major syndicates.

He also used the Housebroken characters to help him study for the bar exam (he passed).
During next three years, he received rejection after rejection from comic syndicates, until Tribune Media Services took the plunge in late 2002.
